Solutions The only way to stop global warming is for society to start caring about our earth. The oil industry can be an example of people not caring about anything but how much money they can make regardless if it is destroying there own environment. People don’t really care about the environment, especially when it goes against there personal convenience. Lazy human beings are the blame for this problem. If society wasn’t so driven on making things more convenient this problem wouldn’t theoretically exist. People have to start thinking about things a little different like taking public transportation instead of driving your own vehicle, or walking instead of driving somewhere that is in walking distance. There also needs to be forms of clean coal energy developed such as solar power or hybrid. The reinforcement of recycling can also be a huge key as well as an alternate garbage disposal program. Humans would have to come together and set aside there differences and work as one to make sure that global warming won’t become a reality. What I Learned I learned that global warming is closer to being a reality than we think. I also learned about the huge effect that temperature can have on our earth and humans. This study taught me that money is not worth destroying the world I live in or the world of tomorrow. I think about global warming in this sense; if there was a problem that the generation before me had discovered I would wonder why they would leave the problem unresolved for my generation to deal with. That would be considered very selfish and is exactly the mentality that society has today.

What I Learned
