There are several problems in today’s world, some are newer issues and others are older. One of today’s biggest problems is teenagers getting pregnant. Lots of young girls get pregnant before the age of twenty. Peer pressure forces young girls into having sexual intercourse and most times neither of the two know how to properly protect themselves and pregnancy is what a situation like this eventually leads to. This to me is a major problem that needs to be addressed.
Teenage pregnancy occurs so often because so many teens don’t use protection either because they don’t know how to, careless, or they don’t think they have access to it. When teenagers have babies they are putting extra stress on their young lives. They often don’t finish school so this means they don’t have well paying jobs so they end up struggling. They also don’t get a chance to finish experiencing their teenage lives because they have forced themselves to become an adult. These are all great reasons why teen pregnancy is a problem in today’s world.
