Gangs use violence because the ignorance that was put up with from their parents. It’s not that gang members aren’t smart; they just don’t know any better. They have been taught like the rest of us how to behave in public. When ever there’s a conflict they resolve them in batter charges or murder. The problem with these violent acts is the population strain, as gang membership and violence goes up so does the murder rate. Also our youth sees this murder first hand, and it’s hard to explain to a 6 year old his father has been killed by a gang member. Also the number one reason why minorities are in prison is because of murder.
