http://freakonomics.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/08/21/is-teen-pregnancy-cool-or-is-it-just-the-economy/

The reason i chose teenage preganancy is because it is effecting our society in a negative way. More than half of the teenage parents decide that welfare is best for them. The nation pays for children to have children. Then comes the case when some result in abortion, this effects our country because in some cases not only does the baby die but the mother as well, so we lose two lives and the economy is weakened.

In the coming of my project and when its time to conclude, one will better understand how teenage pregnancy not only effects the mother and father of the teenage parents but the country as a whole. Some may eventually get offended but its not to place blame on anyone or call names. My research will be used as a better understanding for those who just don't get it
