Teenage Pregnancy For this project I will discuss how pregnancy among teens has affected society. Teenage pregnancy seems to be the new trend in high schools all over America. Most teens don't think of the consequences once they become pregnant, instead you see them rejoicing about the child that will soon be born. When a teen becomes pregnant, it not only affects them but it also affects the people around them, such as parents or whoever is caring for that teen. Most teenagers, after giving birth, drop out of school and are most likely not to go to college. From what I’ve seen, it becomes harder economically on the parents because they are the ones caring for the new child. In most situations the father is not involved in the baby’s life leaving the mother on her own. This is the main reason I chose this topic. I want young women to realize that once they bear a child, everything will not revolve around them and they can't do the things they used to; it's all about the child. Teenage Pregnancy I.
